Hello! My name is Megan and welcome to my new blog, Cookies and Crockpots. This blog is born out of an New Year’s resolution to do more home cooking and I’m hoping to learn to cook along the way. As the blog name suggests, I’m a big fan of both cookies and crockpots. However, I’d like to learn how to make more than just chili in my crockpot and how to bake more than cookies!
Obviously, I’m super new to food blogging and my ambitions for this blog are pretty modest. I also run a book blog (Megan Likes Books) and I’ve found that since I’ve started blogging about books, I’ve read more. Since my New Year’s resolution is to cook more meals at home, I figured it stood to logic that I will cook more if I start blogging about it. And thus Cookies and Crockpots was born!
I’m super excited to get started and I’m starting my resolution a little early (TONIGHT!), so watch for my first actual cooking post tonight or tomorrow (Cheeseburger Casserole).
